🌳 Digitize the past — preserve it for the future

Last updated: 31 October 2025 • Owner/Provider: “Digitized Memories” • Contact: @digital_trees

In short: the data you provide is used only to create and deliver your family website. All source data is deleted within 24 hours after the site handoff is confirmed. Questions: @digital_trees.

1) What data we collect

2) Purpose of processing

Exclusively to create and deliver your genealogy website (including an offline version and, if requested, PDF/vector outputs). Data is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties without your consent.

3) Storage and access

4) Retention and deletion

After confirmation of delivery, all source data and intermediate files are deleted within 24 hours. We only retain service information about the order (invoice/communication) for the period required by law.

5) Your rights

6) Photos & copyright

By providing photos/materials, you confirm you have the rights to use them for the project. Rights to the content (names, photos, texts) remain yours; rights to the implementation/site template remain with the Provider. You receive a perpetual license to use the delivered site and files (offline, PDF/vector).

7) Minors’ data

If the tree includes data about children/minors, the client confirms they have consent from the legal representatives to use such data strictly within the project.

8) Security

We minimize the volume of stored data and aim for secure file transfer. If you send materials via email/messengers, please consider their own privacy and security terms.

9) Hosting & technical limitations

Free hosting is a convenient start, but it may have limitations in stability/speed/SSL. We are not responsible for third-party hosting outages. Upon request, we can assist with migration to paid hosting and a domain (see “Prices”).

10) Tree updates

After delivery, we can update/edit your data upon request according to the current price list.

11) Prohibited content

Please do not submit materials that violate the law, infringe copyright, or contain prohibited/offensive content.

12) Changes to this policy

This document may be updated. The current version is always available on this page with the update date shown above.
